This study aims to identify biomarkers associated with adverse effects of intraocular pressure-lowering drugs (prostaglandins, PG) in the tears of patients with normal-tension glaucoma. Metabolomic analysis of tear samples will be conducted to detect indicators related to drug response and side effects, providing evidence for patient-specific safety and efficacy evaluation. Ultimately, the study seeks to minimize adverse effects of glaucoma medications and contribute to the development of personalized treatment strategies.

본 연구는 정상안압 녹내장 환자의 눈물에서 안압강하제(PG) 사용과 관련된 부작용 바이오마커를 발굴하는 것을 목표로 한다. 눈물 내 대사체 분석을 통해 약물 반응 및 부작용과 관련된 지표를 확인하고, 환자 맞춤형 안전성과 효능 평가를 위한 근거를 제공한다. 이를 통해 녹내장 치료제 사용의 부작용을 최소화하고, 개인 맞춤형 치료 전략 수립에 기여하고자 한다.
